P3 2013


This took place from November 3 to November 6 in the National Auditorium at the Children’s Museum in San José, Costa Rica, with the more than 200 local and international participants as well as twenty-four speakers and six moderators from countries such as Kenya, the United States, Bhutan, China, Colombia, Peru, Australia, Brazil, Norway and Costa Rica. MOTIVATION and INNOVATION were the central themes of P3 International Conference 2013. Local and international experts encouraged participants to self-reflect and to enrich their attitudes and opportunities to successfully and peacefully meet the challenges of a changing world. These issues were addressed at the beginning of each session as an invitation to reflection.

P3 2011


This took place on October 3 and October 4 at the EARTH University in Guácimo, Limón region of Costa Rica. It included more than 180 local and international participants from countries such as Canada, the United States, Barbados, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Peru and Colombia, as well as fourteen world-class speakers and twelve experts who led interactive workshops. On this occasion, the central theme was: “Culture in sustainable tourism”, with discussion of issues such as Trends in Marketing and the Promotion of Sustainable Experiences, the Myths and Realities of Sustainable Tourism in Costa Rica, Risk Management for Natural Disasters, Climate Change Challenges, and Culture for Development.

P3 2010


This was held from November 1 to November 3, 2010, in San José, Costa Rica, with the participation of more than 250 local and foreign representatives. The theme “Towards Sustainable Tourism” was accompanied by analysis of issues related to rural community tourism with representative experiences from Guatemala, Ecuador, Kenya and Costa Rica.

 

P3 2009


The first international conference was held from October 26 to October 29, 2009, in San José, Costa Rica, with an attendance of more than 200 participants and an agenda filled with highly distinguished local and international speakers. The CANAECO Program Viajeros con Conciencia Climática (Climate Consciousness Travelers, VCC) was launched.
